Lighthouse launched
So, Lighthouse finally launched last week. We got caught up in launch parties, schmoozing, booze, etc and I never got a chance to update the blog. Okay, seriously, we’re not rockstars, we’ve been busy.
DNS Update: mephistoblog and railsweenie both failed. Registerfly thought it was necessary to lock my domains and make it impossible to unlock. Thanks, guys!

Congrats—FYI, the main Beast forum seems to be AWOL today.
I did get Beast pulled from svn trunk to run on my MacBook this afternoon, with some effort.
It seems you have to use sqlite strictly less than version three, and if you use fink to get sqlite, you probably have to “gem install sqlite-ruby——with-opt-dir=/sw” to get it properly compile.
Also, in application_helper.rb, MD5.md5 should be MD5.hexdigest?
Is there a Lighthouse thing for Beast? It’d give people a chance to play with both projects.

Rails Machine had some network issues at their data center.
There is a lighthouse for beast, but it’s not really being used. Josh prefers using beast to track beast.
